Carpenters from Orla
E. Fryś-Pietraszkowa, „Udział rzemieślników żydowskich w kulturze wsi. Materiały”, Polska Sztuka Ludowa - Konteksty 1989 t.43 z.1-2. Translation by Wojciech Szwedowski.
Before World War I and during the interwar period there were Jews in Orla, who made furniture mostly for Jews and neighbouring villages. There were also two Polish carpenters. During the interwar period the furniture was provided mostly by Jewish carpenters of Orla (pull-out beds, bars, stools, and chairs) (materials gathered by Anna Kunczyńska in 1955).
